As a business, we continue to prioritise sustainability and reducing our carbon footprint.

Our commitment to making a positive impact on the planet and manufacturing and sourcing the most efficient and environmentally friendly products on the market is underpinned by our membership of the Sustainable Restaurant Association.

At the beginning of 2023, we had solar panels installed on the roof of our office building. They have delivered 3 big wins for us; we have generated a fantastic amount of energy so far, prevented 8,000kg of carbon dioxide emissions from being produced and provided us with a great cost saving.

We also continue to reduce our carbon footprint. Our new electric forklift arrived at the beginning of March and is charged by the electricity generated from the solar panels. We have also changed some of our fleet to electric cars, which will be charged at the charging points in our car park.

Chapman Ventilation are also helping clients to reduce their energy usage to cut carbon emissions for a more sustainable future, as well as providing them with cost savings. We have recently been working with the the Swedish cleantech company Enjay, and installing their new product into Burger King and Popeyes sites. The new technology recovers the energy in kitchen fumes during cooking and uses it to heat the rest of the building, therefore, reducing heating bills.

Please get in touch if you would like to find out about the products and maintenance services we can provide to help you on your path to a sustainable future.
