Chapman Ventilation were thrilled to win the Outstanding Contribution to Business category, one of the top accolades, at the 10th Inspiring Hertfordshire Awards ceremony held on 9th September 2021 at the Warner Bros. Studios in Leavesden.

The Inspiring Hertfordshire Awards ceremony celebrates the achievements and contribution of the county’s businesses and charitable organisations. Other categories included Family Business of the Year, Most Promising New Business, The Green Award, Entrepreneur of the Year, and Best Use of Technology.

Anthony Chapman, Managing Director of Chapman Ventilation, said: “Chapman Ventilation are very proud to have won the Outstanding Contribution to Business award.  We appreciate the recognition from the Hertfordshire Chamber of Commerce for our hard work and dedication to our customers, and also for the support we provide to several charities, including Isabel Hospice. We are delighted to be able to positively contribute to the growth of our county, where our family-run business was founded. We are looking forward to being involved with the awards next year as well.”

Briege Leahy, CEO of Hertfordshire Chamber of Commerce, said: “Local businesses, large and small, are at the heart of the growth of our county and our annual awards ceremony is an opportunity to recognise business leaders’ hard work, innovation and contribution to Hertfordshire.

“This year our special award for Outstanding Contribution to Business went to a family-run business, Chapman Ventilation, which was founded in 1967 and is now owned and managed by the second generation who took over an already-expanding business in 1998.

This company works across a number of different market sectors, including airports, hospitality and hotels, industrial, commercial and education. Their customers include an impressive number of household names and on a more personal level, the owners are long-term supporters of a number of charities, including Isabel Hospice, and are big supporters of the Armed Forces.

“Given that many of Chapman Ventilation’s customers are in the hospitality sector, much of their business was put on hold in 2020. However, I am pleased to say that they are back up and running and their business is thriving again. This company deserves this special award for their tenacity, for their resilience in the face of unprecedented challenges, but also for what they give back to their local community and their attitude towards sustainability.”
