Chapman Ventilation achieved a fantastic year of fund raising in 2022!

We continued to support the charities close to our hearts; Motor Neurone Disease Association and The UK Sepsis Trust, and also our local charity, Isabel Hospice. In addition, the team decided to raise money for Ukraine, via the Disasters Emergency Committee, too.

A wide variety of fund raising events were organised throughout the year including cake sales, raffles and afternoon teas. This amounted to an amazing £2000 being raised by our generous members of staff for the four charities!

Chapman Ventilation also participated in the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning event in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.

As well as donating money, we have also donated our unwanted, “pre loved” goods to charity as well.

We signed up to Isabel Hospice’s sustainability initiative “Tonnes of Care” in May. They are collecting donations and selling them in their shops. Therefore, turning unwanted goods into nursing hours, whilst also preventing these items going to landfill. Our donations in the last 8 months have saved 528KG from going to landfill and amounted to numerous hours of crucial nursing care being provided in their hospice’s.

Jess Robinson, Events & Community Coordinator at Isabel Hospice, said “We would like to extend a huge thank you to Chapman Ventilation for their generous donation of £500 to Isabel Hospice. This donation will go such a long way in supporting our mission of providing comfort and care to those in need. Chapman Ventilation have been a long-time supporter of Isabel Hospice, not just with monetary donations, but also with our Tonnes of Care sustainability initiative, having donated goods regularly since joining the scheme in May 2022.”

In addition, the team also donated their pre loved football boots, trainers and shoes to Boots 2 Africa. The charity collate footwear and sports accessories from around the UK and send them to underprivileged children and young adults in African countries.

We will continue to support the charities again this year, and look forward to having more fun whilst fund raising!
