But have no fear – we’ve put together some ideas to help you along the way. All that’s left for you to do is sort out the presents and book a table, because don’t forget…the best way to someone’s heart is through their stomach!

Valentine’s week at Bill’s

This week, Bill’s have a special Valentine’s menu on offer. The 2 or 3 course set menu is available from 11th until 17th February, get your table booked to avoid any disappointment! With a menu offering contemporary European dishes there is something for everyone, from halloumi sticks for the cheese lovers, to crispy calamari. For mains why not go for the 8oz sirloin steak served with fries and pea shoots or the vegan Bill’s Wellington made with carrots, cashew nuts, broccoli and vegetable gravy. Finish your meal with the choice of mini cinnamon doughnuts or triple chocolate brownies, delicious!  Why not really spoil your valentines with a bottle of Bill’s champagne – who doesn’t love a glass of bubbly?

A taste of Paris

Paris is listed as one of the most Romantic cities in the world, so for classic French food without the hassle of packing a suitcase, head to Côte for a romantic meal for two. To celebrate Saint-Valentin (Valentine’s Day) Côte have an exclusive menu offering a three course meal costing £27.95 per person or £38.95 per person if you’re a fan of wine pairing. From the French inspired menu you can indulge in traditional French starters that includes duck liver parfait and French onion soup, for mains why not try roast the duck breast served with gratin potato and a cherry sauce or a vegetarian option of wild mushroom risotto. Nothing says I love you more than sharing a chocolate fondant for dessert – for chocolate lovers like myself that is definitely a way to earn extra brownie points. Why delay?
