Mission Ready Training Centre

As long standing supporters of the Armed Forces, we were delighted to be invited to attend an open day at the Mission Ready Training Centre, Bassingbourn Army Barracks in Royston on 4 April.

Laura, Head of HR, and Katie, Armed Forces Champion joined the event to hear about the role of the Army and Reserve Forces and received a tour of the site. The training facilities were also demonstrated which provided examples of the potential benefits Reservists can bring to employers.

Katie said “as signatories of the Armed Forces Covenant and Gold award holders of the Employer Recognition Scheme, it was truly insightful to spend a day at the MRTC and see first hand the training that is undertaken and the skills that are taught to prepare Reservists ahead of mobilisation. This national centre is vital to the UK and it is equally important for employers to show their support to the Reservists that protect our nation”.
