Approved Electrician

We are now looking to appoint an Approved Electrician to join our established Electrical Team. This role will be both site and office based with a requirement to travel on a UK wide basis.

The role will consist of the following primary duties:

  • Auditing and commenting on sub-contractors’ electrical installation certificates
  • Quality assessment and reporting of commercial electrical installations
  • Basic electrical control modifications

To apply for this position you must meet the following criteria:

  • Hold a full, valid UK driving licence
  • Must be Approved Electrician 17th Edition 2391/2394 Qualified
  • City & Guilds level 3 Electrical Installations
  • City & Guilds 17th Edition Regulations
  • CSCS/ECS Card (advantageous but not essential)

Trainee Electrician

Due to continued growth, we are recruiting for a Trainee Electrician to join our established Electrical Team. This role will be both site and office based with a requirement to travel around the south of England regularly. There is also the potential of UK wide travel, as and when requested.

The role will consist of the following primary duties:

  • Working alongside an experienced controls engineer in a site environment, investigating problems and rectifying as appropriate
  • Working alongside an experienced control panel builder in a workshop environment

TIG Welder

We are currently looking for fully skilled TIG welders to join our established production team. Daily duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • A minimum of three years TIG experience is desirable
  • Capable of welding stainless steel sheets as thin as 0.9mm
  •  You must have a keen eye for detail and relevant experience in order to be successful in this role
  • A good understanding of 3D and 2D CAD drawings is essential as well as general fabrication

Graduate Project Manager

Due to continued growth, we are looking to appoint Graduate Project Managers to take on a journey through our company and turn into skilled restaurant HVAC specialists.  The role requires working on a rotational programme, with a minimum 12 months in administration assigned to a number of existing Project Managers, learning the basic processes and principles.  Thereafter, the role will develop to working within a site environment, involving UK wide travel on a weekly basis, visiting new, existing and completing projects.  This may involve overnight stays away from home.

Initially, the role of Graduate Project Manager will involve:

  • Placing orders with suppliers
  • Obtaining quotes for new and existing projects
  • Uploading budget figures and forecasts onto the purchase order system
  • Completing weekly housekeeping of the purchase order system
  • Scheduling engineers / suppliers to attend site to complete commissioning
  • Maintaining accurate project sheets including information regarding orders placed, delivery dates, project start dates and handover dates
  • Hiring and off hiring plant equipment
  • Organising site deliveries with suppliers / couriers

After a minimum 12 month period, the role will develop to include the following duties:

  • Project planning, budgeting and identification of resources
  • Producing Risk Assessments and Method Statements
  • Reacting to problems on a project by project basis
  • Periodic sites visits (weekly) to monitor progress, resolve issues and implement revisions
  • Supervising a sub-contractor labour force
  • Planning and making revisions as and when required
  • Completing weekly Tool Box Talks to ensure a high level of site Health & Safety

As a Graduate Project Manager, you will be the person responsible for the delivery of the project, on time and within budget. You will be working with specified clients and will be tasked with developing those relationships and supporting multiple projects at any given time.

  • Be degree educated in Mechanical Engineering / Building Services with an understanding of fluid and thermal dynamics
  • Live within a commutable distance of Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire

  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills with the ability to prioritise and multi task

We are currently looking for Aministrators to work across both the Projects Team & Maintenance Team. You must have the following attributes:

  • Previous admin experience
  • Excellent time keeping and organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise workload
  • Good communication and written skills are essential as you will be liaising with other departments, customers and  suppliers via telephone and email
  • Being able to work in a team is also very important, as you may have to support or cover other departments when required
  • Customer service orientated
