TIG Welder

We are currently looking for fully skilled TIG welders to join our established production team. Daily duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • A minimum of three years TIG experience is desirable
  • Capable of welding stainless steel sheets as thin as 0.9mm
  •  You must have a keen eye for detail and relevant experience in order to be successful in this role
  • A good understanding of 3D and 2D CAD drawings is essential as well as general fabrication

Production Operative

We are currently looking for fully skilled production operatives to join our established production team. Daily duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Preparing parts for assembly
  • Using hand held tools for production purposes
  • Packing products for dispatch
  • General labouring duties
  • Follow comprehensive health and safety procedures to ensure the department runs safely at all times.

As this is a trainee position, attitude and the right work ethic are important, as is the ability the follow direction without supervision.

CAD Technician

We are now looking to appoint a skilled CAD Technician into our expert CAD team who are at the forefront of our project delivery. German language skills would be highly desirable. You need the below skills to succeed in this role:

  • The production of AutoCAD ventilation drawings, as specified by Project Managers.
  • Applicants will need a competent understanding of AutoCAD Light 2D with the ability to visualise drawings in 3D. Our CAD team work in up to 10 layers and demonstrate expert attention to detail.
  • Applicants will need to deliver accurate drawings to the highest standards, prioritise between multiple projects and effectively communicate between internal and external customers.
  • The ability to speak German would also be highly advantageous

Graduate Project Manager

Due to continued growth, we are looking to appoint Graduate Project Managers to take on a journey through our company and turn into skilled restaurant HVAC specialists.  The role requires working on a rotational programme, with a minimum 12 months in administration assigned to a number of existing Project Managers, learning the basic processes and principles.  Thereafter, the role will develop to working within a site environment, involving UK wide travel on a weekly basis, visiting new, existing and completing projects.  This may involve overnight stays away from home.

Initially, the role of Graduate Project Manager will involve:

  • Placing orders with suppliers
  • Obtaining quotes for new and existing projects
  • Uploading budget figures and forecasts onto the purchase order system
  • Completing weekly housekeeping of the purchase order system
  • Scheduling engineers / suppliers to attend site to complete commissioning
  • Maintaining accurate project sheets including information regarding orders placed, delivery dates, project start dates and handover dates
  • Hiring and off hiring plant equipment
  • Organising site deliveries with suppliers / couriers

After a minimum 12 month period, the role will develop to include the following duties:

  • Project planning, budgeting and identification of resources
  • Producing Risk Assessments and Method Statements
  • Reacting to problems on a project by project basis
  • Periodic sites visits (weekly) to monitor progress, resolve issues and implement revisions
  • Supervising a sub-contractor labour force
  • Planning and making revisions as and when required
  • Completing weekly Tool Box Talks to ensure a high level of site Health & Safety

As a Graduate Project Manager, you will be the person responsible for the delivery of the project, on time and within budget. You will be working with specified clients and will be tasked with developing those relationships and supporting multiple projects at any given time.

  • Be degree educated in Mechanical Engineering / Building Services with an understanding of fluid and thermal dynamics
  • Live within a commutable distance of Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire
  • Hold a full clean UK driving License
  • Be able to travel on a UK wide basis every week
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills with the ability to prioritise and multi task

We are currently looking for Aministrators to work across both the Projects Team & Maintenance Team. You must have the allowing attributes:

  • Previous admin experience
  • Excellent time keeping and organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise workload
  • Good communication and written skills are essential as you will be liaising with other departments, customers and  suppliers via telephone and email
  • Being able to work in a team is also very important, as you may have to support or cover other departments when required
  • Customer service orientated
