Jamie's Italian - Cardiff
“We are now really beginning to understand the requirements of this very prestigious client. The problems at this project were entirely based around having to work with the main scheme developer – it certainly made the job far more challenging than if it had been a normal high street unit. Maybe the next one will be!”

This was our fourth project for the client and presented many of the usual problems during the pre-site design stage and while on site for the fit out. The restaurant is set out on two floors with dining areas at ground and mezzanine levels. Once again, the architect had very firm views on the look of the restaurant, which included fully exposed |
ductwork and comfort cooling units across all dining areas. This meant close liaison with the main contractor, architect and other service providers to ensure that our systems looked and worked exactly as they should. The comfort cooling fan coils make use of landlord-supplied chilled water and are fully integrated into the main system. |
On the back of house side, we provided three canopies for the kitchen cooklines. Filtered fresh air was also provided, along with ventilation to all of the staff, office and store areas. As always, the project handed over on time and in budget. |
