Five Guys opened its flagship store in Canary Wharf, London earlier this year. The 23rd London site for the group opened at the former Wildwood site located at unit 22/23 Jubilee Place on Bank Street. The international burger chain is known for selling hand-formed 100% prime beef burgers grilled to perfection with a range of free unlimited toppings, fresh cut fries cooked in pure peanut oil and milkshakes. Since 2014, when Five Guys opened its first UK site in Covent Garden, Chapman Ventilation have worked with the burger chain to open numerous sites across the U.K as well as Europe and UAE.

High Five, Guys!

In just eight weeks, we handed over the flagship site in Canary Wharf 16th April 2018. The site is fitted with a full HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) system. To be able to handle the aggressive all day cooking style required for Five Guys restaurants a Canopy Containment Air (CCA) hood was installed to minimise heat spillages, reduce exhaust air flow rates and stop the spread of impurities and heat across the restaurant. Three Electrostatic Precipitators system (ESP) were also installed on site.

high standard of works

Tony Ball, Project Manager of Five Guys said: “I enjoyed working on this project and the finished site looks great. The operational, controls and safety interfaces needed to be exact and passed the ‘Cause and Effect’ witness testing without any works required, which shows the high standard of works delivered by Chapman Ventilation.”
