Brassiere Blanc to refurbish its flagship site.
French restaurant chain, led by celebrity chef Raymond Blanc, Brasserie Blanc has announced that its flagship restaurant and bar on London’s Southbank will be renovated. From the end of January through to March the restaurant will be closed as part of the refurbishment process which is part of a wider re-branding strategy across the group. A new 35-cover cocktail bar will be installed at the site and the 136-cover main dining room will include a communal kitchen table to encourage a casual dining experience and atmosphere. Design agency Blacksheep have been hired to create a ‘stripped back’ interior that makes use of a range of natural materials and a muted colour palette of heritage tones. Chief Executive of Brasserie Blanc Mark Derry said: “Being in such prominent, high footfall location, Brasserie Blanc Southbank is our flagship London restaurant and its huge capacity means we can cater for a vast range of group sizes. The refurbishment will transform it into a more inviting and versatile space for local office workers and tourists to enjoy.”
